It all began in the mid-1990s,
Konaté Thiemöko
Alain-Stéphane was studying in
Brest but spending most of his
time in MJC (youth centers). He
taught himself the drums, got
familiar with samplers,
synthesizers and Atari
sequencers, and pieced
together the first shows with his
rap group at the time.
Later came the big move to
Paris, where he took a sound
engineering course, bought his
first gear and worked on
composition, editing and mixing.
In 2003 he founds The Pipelines
with a friend.
After many experiences in their
sonic laboratory and refinery,
and long before it became a
trend, the two scientists of rhythm synthesize E.B.B, Electro Blacka Bounce, a
subtle blend of Electro, Afro and 'Hip Hop, highly inflammable in a dance floor
environment. Together they set trendy clubs on fire in Paris (Favela Chic,
Showcase, 1979, Chez Moune, Batofar) and across Europe (Germany, Switzerland,
Austria) between 2007 and 2012.
Today, after several significant encounters (Skalpovitch Universe, Studios Davout),
he comes back under the GHOST NEBULA moniker and his solo project,
Metamorphosis.
